Above the clouds

One of my favorite songs says, "Above the clouds the sun is ever shining, while sunbeams vie to make the heavens glow." The song goes on to describe an eagle caught in a storm, and how the eagle's only way out of the clouds is to press above them. Truly the only way out of the storm is to rise above the clouds, to the sunshine above!
I was already certain that the Lord wanted me to go to India this January. But there's no doubt in my mind now! With all the things that have come up lately, I know that God wants me in India and that Satan is doing his best to hinder and discourage me! To name a few of the things that have come up: my computer's hard-drive completely failed, causing me to lose all my data; while waiting for my "new" (used!) computer, I borrowed my step-dad's, which seems to take pleasure in disconnecting from the internet at the most crucial moments; because of the computer issues, my visa application took awhile to finish up; and this list could go on and on! But the sun still shines above the clouds! :-)
Three young girls recently gave their lives to Christ in baptism, and another lady will be baptized in a few weeks. I love seeing people decide to follow the Lord all the way! One of the girls has been a close friend of my little sister's ever since they were infants. :)
Jesus is coming soon, friends! Keep your eyes on the Son above the clouds!
