As I've been here in Deer Lodge, TN in preparation for India, I have been able to get good practice in many areas, thanks to the next door neighbor girl. She is an energetic girl, 7-8 yrs old. Everything from wading in the pond without permission to stealing duck eggs - she keeps things hopping! :) But all the frustration was worth it when she looked at me a minute, then ran and threw her arms around me in one of the biggest squeezes I have ever felt! As I've been around this girl, I have constantly been reminded that God sees us, not as we are, but as we can, and will be, when He's through with us. Praise Him! I know I have a long way to go, but I'm so glad Jesus sees me for what I will become! Now, to develop that kind of "eyesight" towards others...!

To develop that kind of "eyesight" is to remember who we were and how God (Jesus) changed us to what we are today.
